About the author
Ronnie Mbuqe
Ronnie Mbuqe is a software developer, author, lifelong learner and the creator of ExplainItSimply. He has always been curious about what happens behind the scenes—what happens after someone presses Send, taps a bank card, asks AI a question, checks the weather or boards a flight.
Software development taught Ronnie that the hardest part is often not building the technology. The real challenge is understanding how all the pieces connect and then explaining that journey clearly enough for other people to follow. Computers usually do exactly what we tell them to do; unfortunately, we do not always tell them the right thing.
His interests include Artificial Intelligence, software, space, aviation, science, education and the hidden systems that support everyday life. One simple question often leads him into several connected topics—and occasionally an unhealthy number of open browser tabs, which he prefers to call research.
Ronnie created ExplainItSimply because useful information is everywhere, but it is often scattered. His goal is not only to answer a question such as “What is AI?” but to guide readers from the basic idea to the software, data, people and real-life systems connected to it, one clear step at a time.
He jokingly describes his experience as 0 days. The joke carries a serious message: technology changes, science keeps discovering, and every morning presents something new to learn. Experience matters, but curiosity keeps experience alive.
He personally oversees the clarity, usefulness and quality of ExplainItSimply content. He does not write because he knows everything; he writes because he enjoys learning, asking better questions and sharing what he discovers.
“I don’t collect answers. I collect better questions.”
